TN snowmen (and snowladies)

We don't get much snow in this part of Tennessee. Sleet...yes, ice... yes, dustings of snow... yes. But very rarely enough to go sledding on or to make a good snowman with. We received an unexpected treat last Friday when 8 inches of snow dropped on our county.

It was grand!

There are snowmen all over. And snow forts. And tracked-up sledding hills.

But there is something a little different about the snowmen here than I've seen in other places. You see, in Tennessee no self-respecting country boy would leave his home half dressed. And you are half dressed if you don't have your cap on!

Seems it is no different for the snowmen!

And of course a Southern lady has her gardening hat...
